watching white goyische lgbt people talk over the racism and antisemitism insidiously baked into the imagery and narrative of hogwarts: legacy is unsurprising but still deeply disturbing
the only things I’ve seen on twitter have been people saying how exciting they are for the game, or white lgbt people talking about jkr’s transphobia (this project pads jkr’s pockets, which don’t get me wrong is bad, but like. you guys never talk about the racism/antisemitism which is the issue at the forefront here)
this game is basically nazi propaganda guys. when i watched the trailer i had to go lie down because everything, the imagery to the phraseology to the narrative, was so blatantly fascist that it was overwhelming and triggering.
can we please please talk about the racist/antisemitic content. for once can we address this problem directly and bring it out into the open and into people’s awareness. reckon with the culture that produced this and allowed it to be massively popular. please.
